    • Take bold action before you feel “ready.”

    • Forgive, but remember the lesson.

  4. Rei (礼) – Respect

    • Respect all—friend, rival, or enemy—without lowering your guard.

    • Maintain composure in victory and defeat.

    • Show gratitude daily; it keeps arrogance in check.

  5. Makoto (誠) – Honesty & Sincerity

    • Say exactly what you mean—no half-truths.

    • Align your actions with your words so your life speaks for you.

    • Refuse self-deception; confront your flaws head-on.

    • Be loyal to your mission, your principles, and your chosen tribe.

    • Commit fully—half-measures destroy momentum.

    • Support those who walk the path with you, but don’t follow them off a cliff.
